Meet Petra and Jacob, the owners of Serene Estate.
Since the ‘90s, they have lived and traveled throughout the African continent and have a passion for the nature and people of Africa. Coming from careers of diplomacy and teaching, they have met and appreciated people from different cultures, from the US, the Middle East to Europe and different parts of Africa. Their love for Africa led them to the IsiMangaliso area. The area is unique in its biodiversity and a true ‘gem’ on the African continent.
Petra and Jacob are eager to show their guests the beauty of the area and make them feel at home at Serene Estate. The high standard of hospitality, comfort and calm at Serene Estate is very important to them.
